  • During your consultation, be prepared to discuss the following:

    • Your surgical goals and expectations. You will discuss your reasons for choosing the procedure and what you’re hoping for in terms of appearance afterward.

    • Previous surgeries.

    • Medical conditions, treatments, and any allergies.

    • Current medications, vitamins, herbal supplements, alcohol, tobacco, and drug use.

  • Dr. Luong will:

    • Listen to your concerns and desires.

    • Evaluate your medical history, general health status, risk factors, and any pre-existing conditions.

    • Complete a physical exam.

    • Discuss your surgical options and recommend a course of treatment.

    • Discuss likely outcomes of the surgery and any risks or potential complications.

    Consultation Fees

  • • Review the information emailed to you regarding your surgery.

    • Schedule a pre-surgery visit with Dr. Luong to review your surgery, answer your questions, and have photos taken.

    • Stop smoking. Smoking decreases blood flow in the skin and can slow the healing process.

    • Avoid taking aspirin, blood thinners, anti-inflammatory drugs, and herbal supplements as they can increase bleeding.

    • Arrange for help during recovery. Make plans for someone to drive you home and stay with you for at least the first night of your recovery.
